The history of Thailand's air cargo services began at the same time as passenger services in 1922 when the country's first schedule domestic flights were inaugurated - the first such service in Asia.
Thai Airways International's superb modern fleet consists of 85 passenger aircrafts that carries huge volume of cargo in the cavernous belly holds. In addition to our own large fleet, THAI Cargo also leases substantial capacity on cargo freighters of partner carriers over high priority routes on a regular, scheduled basis. A further backup of leased interline space is available whenever there is a surge in demand over particular routes or during periods of high seasonal traffic.
